Nisha Coleman is a writer, storyteller, and actor.
She has performed her solo storytelling shows across Canada, the U.S., and Europe. Her stories have been broadcast on CBC, The Moth, Risk!, and other platforms.
Her children’s book Dear Humans explores animals’ changing habitats, human fallibility, Indigenous wisdom, creative problem solving—and above all, hope for our future.
Her performance in the lead role of Zoé was deemed “outstanding” by the jury of the Landshut Film Festival in Germany and was awarded “best lead acting performance in a short” film at Toronto’s Blood in the Snow festival.
She is a storytelling mentor and public speaker, often addressing themes of creativity and authenticity.
Nisha is passionate about animal and human rights, environmentalism, and veganism.
